The promised blow duly arrved on Sunday evening and continues, forecast to continue until Wed am. But our progress has been much better the last 3 days and we still have good assistance from the Gulf Stream. Had some spectacular lightening shows and lots of serious rain showers, along with 30 knot winds gusting more and generating quite large following seas. So our journey is now much quicker but lumpy and roly and everything is a little challenge. Paul has been cooking so we are OK on food and today is sunny. It has been amazingly warm since departing from Newport.

Another dead flying fish on the foredeck this morning but no dolphins for 2 days.
