Amanda here (Bryan’s brother). We arrived a week ago via Male- one day / night in the capital city for an “interesting experience”. Worth going to, but wouldn’t go out of my way.
Arrived with Rob (husband) and Cade (two and a half year old son)- in a week I have doubled the number of dives I've ever done! I now have a total of eighteen dives- the last nine done here FANTASTIC diving- the coral is fantastic pretty much anywhere you dive (and snorkel)- we’ve seen lots of turtles and I’ve even touched one. We’ve seen lots of stingrays and eagle rays (about five of them all dancing round and round on one dive). On my last two dives we did Manta Point, and saw three Mantas feeding. We watched them for about thirty minutes- pretty awesome.
The last dive was on the wreck- my first wreck! That was pretty good!
Also done a lot of snorkelling- the boat takes you out every day from the resort.
Cade has enjoyed swimming every day in the pool at least twice a day- he is now sporting a lovely tan.
The resort is pretty good for a three star. The “all inclusive” deal has made it lovely- cocktail of the day goes down nicely from lunch time onwards...
That’s about it... it’s been a great trip.
