Leaving Dubai was not without its challenges, and the first day Sunday March 22nd resulted in Aroha and a very dejected Bryan and Helen returning to DOSC following sail and autopilot problems. Great support from friends at DOSC - John and Sue, Kate and Rob - lifted the spirits for a renewed attempt for a dignified exit the next day.

Monday 23rd March was very much quieter exit - heading from Dubai around the beautiful Mussandam peninsula and onwards to the departure location of Fujeirah International Marine Club.
