Not so long this time!
I just reread the last blog and as usual spotted mistakes! The heights
should have read 12,000 and 14,000ft but maybe you guessed that!
For those of you who are technically/mechanically minded here is Mollies
update! The wiring problem was related to the army wiring and was quite a
job to sort out. Stephen and Trevor spent most of 2days making it safe
again - we were very fortunate it hadn't been more serious - God again.
When the shock absorbers were examined, as well as the one we knew had
gone, they found problems with the other three! So all 4 shockabsorbers
were changed. A new front suspension cone and brackets was required. Oil
change was done and full service carried out. The exhaust for the
generator was lost at some point so a new one was fashioned and replaced.
The puncture was fixed and as I said a big clean to restore some semblance
of normality took a while! A huge thank you to Trevor for all his help.
It was a great place to stay.
Nicola and I spent some time at the shopping centres and enjoyed ourselves
there! We left her to the airport on Friday morning and then headed to
Kijabe.
We have really enjoyed the days here. We are staying with the Bransfords
- we lived with them on the Comores 30yrs ago!!! It has been refreshing
to chat with them and catch up on the years. Dick and Stephen are on the
same wavelength and are looking forward to developments here! They are
away today visiting a school for disabled children and I'm at home
catching up on mail and waiting for another friend to arrive - she has
just arrived!! Netty for those of you who know her!
Mollie has had a good rest but we plan to set off tomorrow for Tanzania
and then Malawi.
Please keep your e-mails coming - is great to hear from you! Please keep
praying - we appreciate that even more.
Will write again along the way
Love
S&H
