TIP 14
when under
taking a transatlantic voyage ensure you do your Christmas shopping before
leaving or no pressies on Christmas morning --oops
Morning. What - no Christmas pressies??? Right
that's it - Im off!! Arr - problem. That's outrageous!! Anyway -
update........on my watch last night (4am - 8am), between 4am and 5am we had the
motor on and the sea was so glass like - we could see the stars reflecting in
the sea - its was like Walt Disney - it didn't look real, then I went to make a
cup of tea, and couldn't believe it, got to the cockpit and Ken (watch leader)
was getting the genoa out and we had 12 knots of wind!!!! We also got the
staysail out as the wind was still there (other front slightly smaller sail),
and now, at 9.45am, we still have 16 knots of wind and we are doing 7+ knots
over the ground. My fingers are crossed that it stays. We've had approx 6 days
of calm and it is such a relief to be on the slant again!!! Il never
complain about a 45 degree shower again!! Hope you are all having a lovely
Christmas eve. Caroline x
russ xmas eve already it still doesn't seem
like it I will have to watch my

wind) home alone (could be Adam if we
don't hurry) Grinch (hes stolen my

automobiles(we may need if we miss our flights) just
happy that I left the perfect storm the day after tomorrow and I am legend at

across the sky delivering all his pressies to all those wonderful little
