Tip 18 Ken's- sleeping in the forepeak in 30
knots of wind.
imagine you
are at Alton towers on the black hole ride-remember? well imagine its 60
miles long and your lying down headfirst, you've no idea which way your going
up, down, left or right got it? now go to sleep! simples.
ken- well as you can see we have wind and are
making excellent progress the wind peaked at 34knots F7 last night so we are
looking for a record breaking distance today.
sqaully showers of and on all morning, must dash
found an old copy of bella I've not read! SMALYX.
We had a flying fish on deck last night and a
little squid -they are obviously not scared of Russ's fishing so they decided to
come and taunt him --am sure the squid had its tongue out when we threw it back
in.ha ha !
the wind variation is unbelievable we were flying
along all yesterday then in the night within the space of 30 minutes the
wind went from 24 to 31 then back to 12 then up to 34 then back to 24--makes
sailing trimming interesting.Trying to sleep was a waste of time couldn't stay
in bed it was so choppy 7 meter swell and short sharp
chop
