Hi Everybody,
Spent all day yesterday motor sailing with less
than 10 kts wind. covered 134nm. began sailing at Midnight now have 27kts close
hauled and bashing into a sharp chop. Nearly as much water inside as out. Some
cloud today but sun trying to break through. All ok apart from a little sleep
deprivation.
Hoping for more favourable wind
direction.
Today is going to be a longggg day! Ive
resorted to the sofa because of getting too wet outside. saw 3 big dorardos jump
out of the water yesterday but cuaght nothing, Not fishing today, simply
too much effort to clip on etc, and we dont want to give the fish the pleasure
of avoiding us for the 4th day running.

Hi Pat. As you`ll gather from the above a
complete contrast from yesterday. Very squally overnight and we`re now
well reefed. Tony standing up to it v well altho difficulty opening the whisky
cupboard last night. Food excellent - Thai chicken curry last night, but it
might be different in today`s conditions- nobody will want to cook.Hope all ok
with you.Regards to Robert! Mike.
This is the cruise of a lifetime, Sundowner is a
fine boat and is looking after us very well. Antigua was a very interesting
place, a cross between dereliction and beauty and the people were
extremely courteous and kind. We lost the sunshine earlier today but happily it
is coming out to play now. If you read this Matthew tell your mother all is
well. Tony
Pam and all. Biscay all over again - no wind
- lots of wind all in about 4 hrs in the early hrs. Mixup with yesterday's
email from Pam so could you send another ta. I cant reply without receiving one.
Thanks wend for yours. Had less sleep last night than I do on-call.
Aim to hit the sheets asap - as soon as I take the necessary tightrope walk to
the heads!! - for a wash - shower tomoro? Dick
