Hi Everybody
Position 31 17n 40 38w COG 43 SOG
8.0kts Wind NW 20/23kts. Had good day sailing yesterday making good speed and
direction. Night also good with weather and sea calming a little. 800nm to go
and everybody is beginning to plan for land. Arrival hopefully Sun/
Mon.
Hi Pam and all Am I up to date with all your
txts. Excellent news from David and thanks to Ian for being there
too. Hope the flat is sound structurally. Good night as Paula says,
with a helpfull wind for a change, I found it cold though. I was beginning
to think the wind direction was never going to do that. Still clumsy with
tha sat phone so please excuse me. Seem to fill the days with little
things to do and havent yet finished a single book!! I've even done some
washing. On watch now 10am must go Dick
Me again. Not much to report other than missing you
a lot. Weather etc as above - we had a cracking run yesterday. Think the Skipper
is a little optimistic re ETA. I`d obviously got the wrong end of the txt. I
assumed you`d bit the bullet and driven down; instead you appear to have
had the invasion.Hope Ans Paola is better. Any news re Mower? Totally devoid of
news out here. Is there an election going on? How`s the Stock Market? Is my new
grass in the veg plot growing? Regards as ever to Lucy & Robert.

Nothing much to report other than what is written
above. We seem to get good days and wet and stormier nights, I now know where
the inspiration for "Those in peril on the sea" comes from. It is fascinating
that one can be wet and cold but without the misery and still having a good
time. Catching up with my reading and am now on my fourth book.Other than that
it is a ceaseless round of deck quoits and cocktails.Hope all is well with you
all. Tony.
