Hi Everybody,
Position 33 46n 35 22w COG 58 SOG
6.5kn. Motoring at moment but wind increasing so expect to be sailing
again soon. Been motoring since yesterday morning on a calm sea with sunshine.
Seen some dolphins but no big whales yet. Ship sightings increasing two
yesterday and one overnight. Outside Raymarine radio broke again!!! think it got
wet when took wave.
Hi Pam and all All fine here. Still no fish!!
Amazing how cold the wind is even in the day with the sun out. At night
its near full kit to stay warm. The winds up and down but not consistent
in direction or force so far today. Making steady progress though.
Day out of the sun for me today as I burned a bit yesterday pm. How is
Sian's cad going? Had txt from David re mortgage etc - seems good so far, I hope
Ian gives the place the thumbs up. Have a good weekend away in
Falmouth. Dick
Hi Pat. Only 520 nm to go in a straight line
-Lands End to Inverness at 7mph! Motoring at the moment with not much wind
although there are some northerlies forecast. It`s getting quite crowded out here
- we saw two ships yesterday. I called one up on the R/T - a Dutchman
going to Antwerp. He was able to give us a forecast for the next day or
so.Celebrated Adam`s B`day with Pimms and cake. Fish are proving elusive but
there is more wild life about. ETA looks increasingly like Tuesday. Hope all OK.
Regards as ever to Lucy & Robert. Mike x.
Hey, Yesterday was entertaining, definitely the
most random birthday ive had, still was pretty good. Yesterday was pretty
calm, so me and russ decided that it was time to have some fun. This lead
to us pumping up the rib and going to take some photos of Sundowner in
action. It was weird seeing Sundowner disappear off whilst trying to start
the engine which wouldn't tick over! Russ spent 15 mins cursing at man o
war jelly fish because the rib was moving up and down too much for him to take
pictures apparently. Cant wait to get in now and get a whole night in
bed!
