Wind NE 30-38kts Sea Rough 95 miles to go.
we are still a full day away at this speed with the
prospect of another rough night at sea. Praying for a change in
weather.
Yo, er pretty crappy weather like mum says lots of
wind all in the wrong direction. Ive come to the conclusion that our
system for weather forecasts isnt the best really, throughout the whole
trip its been wrong in at least one way. Normally it under reads wind
speeds by 10 knots but today its out done itself. The weather is 'supposed
to be' Northerly 30 knots and wasnt supposed to be coming till 6 this
evening so in one forecast its managed to give us the wrong wind speed, wrong
direction and wrong time! Fun times :)

Pam and all Hard going late yesterday and esp
today. Bit of a pain as were under 100 mls away. Hey ho just one and a
very bit Guernsey and back trips. We are hoping with just a little bit of
improvement we can make better time. I dont belive weather forcasts any
more. Should get some shelter behind the islands soon - another sailing
myth no doubt - I thought there was a Lift in windstrength if there was an
offshore wind (this N is!!) - we'll see. Hope Davids solicitor is

All Hail. Like being in a washing machine out
here. F9 (strong gale -as opposed to a measly normal one). Monday arrival has
gone by the board. we`re only 90 miles away , but can`t point at the target or
do much better than 3 Kts.At least it might mean a daylight approach . I gather
Tony sent you Mat`s tel. No. Glad the wedding went well and you`ve seen a
bit more of Al & Ana. Might even be able to use a proper phone tomorrow.

As you can see we are struggling a little with
adverse conditions. At some points of the trip we estimated to be docking about
now(11.30am) but we shall not make it before tomorrow now. All in good spirits
in spite of the weather. Would like to know if we have return tickets !!!
